I am looking for split board which would be pretty stiff by FR boards standard. I am ridding custom alpine decks and found FR boards be absolute noodles and I am also spoiled by construction of alpine boards especially ability to damp vibration and edge hold. I have only one FR board, Steepwaters Plow. I went thru entire stock of these at Wave Rave store and picked the stiffest one. Recently I saw Unity Whale 167 last year model and stiffness seems to be OK. I do not know anything about these boards? I would like to have a board which I can take also between tight trees and moguls which are in resorts on powder day usually after third run. I am not looking for pure powder board I have swallow tail Virus for it. Any tips welcome.

I have a rossi experience thats good and stiff with a wavy edge. I recommend getting one of those split. Venture storm would flip the bill or get a custom Donek and you can have whatever you want.

Prior is also a very solid option for you. They will make you an Alpine Split as well. Check em' out.

Unity snowboards absolutely kick ass! I would also recommend a Donek if you are an alpine kinda guy.

Prior or Donek can make any stiffness for you.
Prior makes more softboards, and Donek makes alpine boards mostly. Both make splitboards. You can call then and get a full custom board with stiffness you want.

My Unity Dominion is pretty stiff. Having owned and ridden the shit out of a Steepwater Plow, I'd say the Dominion isn't quite that stiff, but fairly close.
