But anyways, I'll be working in Texas til mid-December and then it is time to ride. I've got a few split friends here in town and we are usually down to get out anytime. So if people want to get together count me in once the snow starts piling up.

Just thought I'd share this link: http://www.cookecity.com/WC_SBL_East_SM.htm Decent Cooke webcams that now have a cool 24 hr timelapse feature. Look at it today to see the first storm rolling in!
Cooke would be a pretty cool spot for a bunch of regional splitters to meet up this winter I think. Tons of terrain and decent options for accommodations.

Just thought I'd chime in on http://www.beartoothpowder.com. Ben is a really good guy and has put a ton of work into getting the cabin(and yurt) going. From what i hear the yurt is already getting quite a few bookings. i'm hoping to make it to the cabin later this season(maybe spring) depending on availability and cash flow. here's to hoping for a good and stable winter

Yeah, he's a super cool dude. Run into him a couple times while splitting around Cooke. The Woody Creek and the other cabin are going to be awesome resources. Looks like the Fisher Creek SNOTEL is showing over a foot already!

Did a bunch of people show up for it Sam?
Yeah, turnout was great. The whole place wasn't sold out by any means but I'd say there was around 80 or 90% capacity downstairs at the Emerson. I didn't take a look to see how full the balcony was. I was pretty pleased with the turnout.

Someone in the balcony won the Jones splitty they gave away... Nice venue. Stick in the eye for the TGR ski trailer that buffered and failed before the snowboard feature, ha ha. Would have liked to see some Radbots though, those guys rip.
PS: Visitor to Bozeman, happened to be in town for the premiere. First time and I'm impressed. Friendly people, beautiful surroundings. Thanks for the good times!

Not exclusively snowboarding, or splitboarding for that matter, but looks pretty good all the same: Radbots film premiere at Best Western Ballroom, TONIGHT, @8:00.
