Hi folks,
Does anyone know or think of a way to mount a standard binding directly to a splitboard? The purpose would be if you have a time period or a second splitter that you mainly want to ride on lifts (sacrilege) and so you probably don't want the extra weight or flex that comes from splitboard bindings. You might even remove some of the uphill mode hardware for that purpose that time.
I can't think of any bindings that would fit the wider insert hole pattern of a splitter without using pucks, so maybe someone might have an idea of a modification to do so. I'm not afraid of experimenting with a drill or dremel on an old set of standard bindings to see if I can get it to work.
