Got about four weeks vacation, will be based around the Mt Hood but am willing to travel.

Looking for some quality trip ideas. Ideally would like to do some hut touring or solid bc tours. Keen to travel to British Columbia, Idaho, Cali, washington state, etc.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Go where the conditions are best. I have a very hard time planning trips in advance, because you never know where mother nature is going to be giving the goods and when. I'd look into a few places that are enticing, and make the call as the weather reports come in a few days prior.

Sometimes you can get good deals in advance an such, but I'd much rather get prime conditions. Like last year my wife wanted to go to salt lake for her birthday (march 8th) and we had free passes to Brighton with our local season pass. It dumped up here the whole time we were there. I was in knee deep the day before I left and in knee deep the day after I got back....I rode groomers the whole time we were there, with the avy danger considerable in the BC and crappy conditions to boot. If it was up to me I would have canceled the trip...
