Anyone know if there are any places that rent splits in La Grave or Cham? The wife and I are heading over there next winter for two weeks. We will be doing a bunch of riding at other resorts, mostly with our solids. It'd be nice if I could just bring our sparks and gear and not have to bring the splits and skins.

I think I probably won't have a problem finding a 166-168ish for me, but she needs a 148-152ish for her.

i didn't see any split rentals let alone any splits for sale in chamonix this last August and i doubt they do. bring the splittie.

Zero G in Cham sell splits,look them up on FB they will answer your question

I don't see why you just don't bring your split? I assume renting would be just if not more expensive. And you can ride your own board...

Mainly beacuse I would probably have to take another bag, which I'd like to avoid. Bringing 2 solids, 2 splits, 2 bindings, 2 sparks bindings, skins, polls, packs, avy gear, helmets, etc... is a lot of gear. Not to mention enough clothes for the Mrs. and me for at least a week. When I started looking at it I think we will need 4 bags if we don't bring the splits, maybe 5 bags if we bring the splits.

We might end up bringing the splits anyways, just looking at all my options.

When I went to BC for the week last year me and Brad managed to get all gear for a week of backpacking into 3 bags. Usually you can be creative with the 50 lb limit. Its just nice having your own gear is my opinion.

Zero G rent splits. They're just on summer web pages at the mo, so only bikes showing.

What they are showing though, is that Dupraz are doing a factory split. Cue extended bout of chin-stroking. Hmmm...
