10/11 Spark Blaze not fitting on Voile Universal pucks?

Hiya all; just attempted to mount brand-new 10/11 Spark Blazes using brand-new Voile Universal kit on brand-new Venture; damn binding pins will not fully engage in ride mode. Pins strike forward edge/pucks preventing movement past approx 1in. Used puck-alignment tool and verified Sparks are fully seated against rear pucks on tight Venture. Was this a typical problem on 1st gen Blazes? Can only think of sanding down forward puck slightly-Any other ideas? thanks... :banghead:

Just try mounting your pucks again a little tighter. The sparks fit tight, especially on new pucks, it'll get easier as the break in.

The Voile puck alignment tool only gets you 'close', but not perfect. I always need to tweak my puck positions after getting them roughed-in with the Voile tool. Usually scootching the pucks towards each other a millimeter or so does the trick. Just set them with the Voile tool, then check the binding fit, then loosen the puck screws enough that you can slide it a hair, and finally snug it down and check again.

Scootching together slightly with straight-edge did the trick! Thanks all for the advice! :thumpsup:
