looks to me like your board may be a bit too big for ya in those conditions, you hesitated to hop to toe side and the board started to chatter, legs gave out (fatigue)

shorter board might be more maneuverable, easier/lighter on the uptrack, less fatigue

my :twocents:

Stiff knee. Board begins to chatter & slips out underneath. Best thing I ever started doing was crank the hell out of the forward lean....forces the knees to flex.

That & age. There's a slower response rate from mental inputs to reaction - truth. Terrible when you used-to-could. Why do you think pro atheletes can't cut it after 40. Sorry dude. Like my father in law always says - "This getting old stuff isn't for sissies"

WHat size boots do you wear? What angles are you riding? What kind of forward lean are you rocking.

Looks like you lost your heal edge and could not regain it. You needed to stop fighting it, bend your knees, and allow the board to get back under you so you could stand up and ride. But I wasn't there. I hate that feeling, been there, done that.

I don't think its you gear setup and definitely not your age.

Some days you got it... Some days you don't...

PS: I watched some of your other videos; the Wineglass looked awesome, just ride like that!

good morning Tex,

you know exactly what you did wrong bro.

opened the body up too much on the first turn ?
leaned too far back
then legs got straight
then dug in too much with no room for it on the heel edge

you need to
dump your speed on the toe side
jump turn it cause it is a tight chute
confidence and control on the heel side
uninstinctively lean forward on the heel side

We called that chute the Toilet Paper Coulior in honor of the brown streaks that you and eco laid down in there.
