With rocker changing the game, you can now ride a freestyle board with a more centered stance in deep powder. 3 years ago, a freestyle cambered split would have been pretty tough to ride on the way down on a regular basis... and I don't think anyone really sold a freestyle split. So now, do you prefer a rockered freestyle in the backcountry or still go with the directional freeride pow slayers?

Directional for 2 reasons at least...

1. For serious Pow slaying, rocker AND taper both have large factors in the float function. As soon as you turn around taper kills you, ergo... Can't get optimum float with a twin.
2.When i am riding stuff way back in nowhere where the splittin is good, and on my own butt for safety and evac, I'm not really going switch or pulling those 540's, just trying to stay on top, in game and on snow.

Try a Winterstick Swallowtail 182 and you shall know why...
