I'm basically looking for a NS legacy without having to go custom (because it's too spensive).

Seems like everyone is so hyped up on the powder specific craze these days but I want a board that I can ride switch and spin on. What good is a board if it doesn't ride both ways? I guess I'm just an old school park rat who is unwilling to change my ways.

I'm willing to put up with Reverse camber/rocker just not the super directional, big nose/short tail designs.

So what you got for me splitboarders?

I would like something like that too. Most of the boards today seem to be directional rocker. I would like to stomp some 180s of small "cliffs" and whatnot.

Prior AMF?

Sweet! I can get it in regular camber too! Might be a little narrow for me but not too bad.

I used to have a Kyber but didn't like it for reasons stated above. I might have to check these out. Looks like they are p-tex sidewalls nowadays too.

Just got my prior AMF. I love the rocker in it and you definitely can ride switch with no issue. I was over my khyber after riding my solid Lib T Rice as my other board. I know you can change your board width for a small fee with prior too...

I'm rockin a DIY Salomon Sick Stick, 160. It kills in the pow but still rides switch nice, spins, flips, whatever. The shape is a directional twin with a small amount of setback and taper. Minimal camber between your feet around 4-5mm IIRC, and then rocker from the bindings out to the very turned up nose and tail.

Check out the Venture Helix, you will not be sorry. Their splits are top notch. The helix is centered, twin flat insert to insert with rocker in the nose and tail.

Hey John, do you guys carry the Helix at your shop? Really sick of my cambered Voile and I'm thinking more and more about a Helix or AMF. Got some Sparks after we rode Monarch, they fckin rock.

We don't have any helix in... but if you know what you want i could see if venture has any available. Oh.. the fuse are sick indeed! I'll be out dawn patrol sun somewhere.

Anyone have the weight of a Helix split in say, 158 lenght? I have a cambered non-split Helix, super fun board for sure. Recently, I've been hitting kickers and spinning my splitty more since I went from a 14lb 165 Khyber to a 12.3 lb 160 Sick Stick. The weight savings (and the length) has a profound effect on my ability to actually ride it like a freestyle board. I bring this up as I'm pretty sure my Helix 158 non-split came in at 12lbs with Bent Metal Restraint bindings. Beefy board that's never going to break but I wonder if in splitboard form, it might be too heavy to take advantage of the twin shape??

For reference, my Salomon Grip 157, non-split freestyle board is around 10.5 lbs and my 156 Fish Limited is around 9.8 lbs. I think that getting you're freestyle splitty as light as possible is key for it to actually work as intended.

I want a Helix or AMF super bad....... Kind of out of funds at the moment though, and this splitboard thing is FUGGIN expensive!! Doesn't stop us though!!
