I see that Jeremy Jones is coming out with a splitboard in his own line of boards debuting next month. I'm a new splitboarder and just picked up a set of Fuse bindings and am agonizing over a board choice (only ruled out Burton so far!). Has anybody out there seen or heard anything about his board? There's good choices out there, so maybe it's not a big deal, but maybe... Any info is much appreciated.
the nidecker boards are awesome. Just rode all 2009/2010 Freeride-deck's on a test-day in the alps. I love those stiff, reactive and fast decks. the base is really solid, hit some rocks and only get some minor scratches in the base. the ultragrip "wavy" edges are nice and working well on hardpack/ slopes. the hybrid camber works well in pow and on the slope, but nidecker actually don't build boards longer than 168 with rocker. Hope they make a stiff 174cm "Legend"-like board with 15mm taper, rocker and a pintail.
Like the last guy said , there are a bunch of good boards out there. Voile's Mojo is a fine board...
And I love it...
I was just at the Ski area and did 5 laps on my carving board and then 3 laps on my Mojo 171 in the BC. It was a greatday and both boards are so different. Have fun deciding...
