For reasons of funding and accesibility I have the choice of either the Voile Mojo or the Poacher from Atomic. The problem is that I have size 11.5 size boots, and the width on either is probably not enough. I ride the Burton Drivers for boots, which are supposed to have the boot sole lenght of a size smaller boot (10.5 for me).
The Mojo has a waist width of 25.5 (at 166cm length) and the Poacher has a waist width of 25.0 (at 164com length). I'd prefer to get the Poacher, but as the bindings are so low to the board, the overhang matters a little more. I measured the overhang at 1 3/4". This overhang allowed the board to get to a 50 degree angle before the boot made contact with the floor. When I called Atomic, they said that this overhang is within average.
So finally my question is this: is it a bad idea to get the Poacher with that much overhang? If it a bad idea, is there any way to make it work?

I dont really have sound reasoning behind wanting the Poacher. It comes down to the stiffness of the Mojo, it seems much more than I need. I feel like the board I ride now allready is really stiff (Lib Tech Skunk Ape), and the Mojo is far more than that. Im feeling more and more like the Mojo might be a better idea though.
I wear a size 12 boot and ride a 166 mojo and I dont have a problem. You should be fine especiallyy sine your Burton boots have the smaller foot print.
