Ride a Malolo most of the time, a Fish now & then. Don't know how a deck w/ the taper of these will ascend and/or "ski" when split.

Use mostly around Jay Peak and Mt Washington area.

Thinking of buying a used Custom on Ebay.

Thoughts? :guinness:

Tapered shapes are fine. I have a Neversummer Summit split board which is basically the same design as a Malolo or Fish. It climbs fine. Maybe even better than having your climbing brackets centered. I've seen two schools of thought on this with the ski crowd. Some people like to set their binders back as far as possible for riding powder and skinning and others say it's better to go more centered. To be honest, either way has worked just fine for me.
