I had no problems with the setup going up to Tilly Jane Cabin and then up to Cooper's Spur (8300ft) the next morning. I did have problems sticking the crampons trying to get back up Cooper's Spur the following early morning when it was frozen. My theory is that the 164cm has too much camber for my weight (165lbs w/ gear) eventually allowing the crampon to pop out of the ice while trying to move forward. Board is barely a year old, so I'm hoping it will get better as it loosens up a bit from abuse.
I'm gonna tour around south Hood maybe try to get on Snow Dome with it in the next few months. Then I'll pop back here with Summer and Glacial riding opinions. Still on pace to surf a Mountain every month for a year!
