Ok, I'm thinking about splitting a venture euphoria which seams to have a very similar shape to the fish. So, anyone who rides a directional split with taper and a way set back stance want to give me a thumbs up or a save your money?
I know it will rip pow like no other. I'm wondering how it will skin. Will there be too much "ski" out front? Any experience appreciated.

After 2 seasons on a Kyhber (~20mm taper), I've not yet encountered diffculty skinning (N. Vermont), although I've not yet experienced the same type of long, open traverses that are inevitable west of the mississippi.
IMHO, skinning on a split is never going to be quite as efficient/symmetrical as skis, since you'll always be dealing with sidecut on one side and flat on the other. The added nose width with a tapered board doesnt seem to really exacerbate that though....
