Heres a funny questions....I want to keep my heel nearly fixed in ski mode on the split.....i was thinking of attaching a small wire with a loop and carabiner to the highback and then clipping it to another loop??? on the board somewhere(maybe the heal rise thing. Im thinking of this because I want to ski on the split board in easy terrain but im not a tele skier and Im eating alot of when attempting it in ski mode. There ya go....let me know whats up?

Some folks want it, others see it as a hazard (i.e. knee injury) since there isn't a release.
I reckon it could be nice if it existed and was safe but practicing skiing the split as it is now can really help too. It gets easier the more you do it and you can still parallel turn with the free heel.

Can you mount plate binding on a split? If so could just mount Touring/Randonee binding and use an AT boot? If not I imagine you could DIY it. Than you have full response with a locked heel and it would be releasable.
