but i would love to hear your opinions. seems to be a lot of folks on here with a lot of great experience.

I just got a prior khyber split that is absolutely stunning.....but i have a solid on order with prior as well. I went with a khyber as well, but I am wondering if i should go with the MFR instead. Just wondering if the khyber might be too twitchy for a resort board.

I am an intermediate to advanced rider that spends little to no time in the park. I drop some cliffs, like natural hits...but i love powder, open bowls, glades....you know. I liked the idea of the khyber for it's quick turning ability....but worry that it may be too quick if that makes sense??

anyone ride both? what is the stability/chatter like on each? I try to stay of ice and crud but it happens....how does either board handle these conditions?

thanks all.

PS production on my board starts this week lol...so i hope i hear from y'all soon!!

I've never been on a Khyber, so I can't make comparisons, but I do have a MFR resort board, and absolutely love it. Very stable in all conditions, absorbs chatter well, floats well, responsive, predictable, really quick; about what you'd expect from an all-mountain $$$ solid board. If I were given the opportunity to trade it for a Khyber, I wouldn't, especially if that was my splitboard. You can always ride your Khyber split in the resort if you want a more specific shape for specific conditions.

Thanks for the info. How do you find the turn initiation on the mfr? I like the idea that the khyber is a quick turning board, just wondering if the mfr is similar.

Thanks

I've found the MFR to initiate rapidly when needed, but the board really shines on more open terrain at higher speeds where snappy turns aren't required. It's not a sluggish board, whatsoever. Good luck with your choice. You're going to be happy with either option I bet.
