Guys I recently wanted to tighten up my tip and clips so I bought the Karakoram ones and just by design they seem stiffer. Guess time will tell but n e way the problem I came to was installing the new ones the whole hammer rivet is just not as easy to install when I tried with a ball peen hammer thing and I flatten it out more then rounding it out like it was.
Wondering if there is any safety way to do this other then a hammer or is there alternatives I read a few things about using a flat screw with nylock nut but not sure how the strength would be compared to the rivet. In my opinion I would think the screw and nylock nut would be better considering they use those for the kclip assembly. But those are obviously thicker.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
