So I'm about to cut my first Splitboard and I'm split (haha) on which board to cut. I have a year old Rome Anthem ss 159 and a 4 year old Anthem 158. My concern on the stiffer and more lively Anthem SS would be cutting any carbon stringers. I know I've seen Rome team guys with an SS split but who has any idea if they were even close to production boards. The Anthem would be easy to cut and probably fine with any stringers, but I worry being a softer board it might be too soft after cutting. So what do you guys think?
I'm using a Voille split kit with metal baseplate Rome Targa bindings if it matters.

I cut a 6 year old 158 anthem last season and it worked great for me. I suppose it depends on what kind of terrain you're planning on riding with it. Being on the east coast, it pretty much only saw use when I was touring for powder in the trees, so the reduced stiffness wasn't an issue.
