Splitboard.com Forums

I live in Maine and am wanting to rent a splitboard. I'm willing to travel to New Hampshire or Vermont. I can't seem to find one in Maine. In fact, many shops don't even know what I'm talking about! Anybody have any suggestions? I already have tickets for a backcountry trip in Oregon. Sure would be great to try it before I go for broke in the pow pow.

Pretty sure REI here in SLC rents them. Maybe check your closest store to see if they can get one in.

Try going to the splitboard company websites like Venture and Voile and searching for local dealers. There are some in Vermont. Maybe they will rent one. Also try http://timefortuckerman.com/forums/index.php and ask there.

Good luck. There should certainly be places in Portland.
