So this may not be in the right section, but I figured I would throw it in anyway.

My skins are a mess. I had to cut about 6" off the tails this morning because they were all crusted up with duff from late season riding last year. And the cheat sheets that came with the skins are kind of disintegrating and leaving black particles all over the glue.

I am curious if anyone has made a mod to attach the tail of the skins to the back of the split-board. And I am also curious if people use the cheat sheets to store the skins or if you just slap 'em together.

im over the cheater sheets they leave too much residue, i started just folding them in half. I have black diamond skins with their factory tail clip and it works really well with a little screw in the top sheet on the tail. They are riveted on with a little rubber strap. simple and works well

I'm using this thing called Skinny to protect my skins' glue, to ease transitions and to lower the force needed to tear the folded skins apart:
