I really want to ride a furberg but am happy with my flagship and solution. Hands down the best board I've ridden in 19 years. And it's better than the Rossi Experience which I've ridden for 2 years.
What I don't get is why furberg went from 9-10m sidecuts in boards like the solution all the way to 16-20m. Why does no one make a board in the middle? Say 12m??? Insted of reverse sidecut past the contact points it could just be straighter for a bit to compensate. Best of both worlds no? I'd love to see a hybrid solution/furberg. Sidecut somewhere in the middle. Without having ridden one but hearing second hand reports I honestly think furberg overshot the sweet spot for the ultimate board. Too much slarve. I love a 9-10m sidecut (considered a very large sidecut) bombing groomers. 18m seems like way too much. I would never get a furberg as a resort board for this reason. I still want to try one real bad though!

BG- You're more than welcome to try my Furbergs, if you make it down to Wolf Creek this season, just shoot me a message. That goes for all on this forum. If groomers are all you will be riding, then the Furberg might not be your ultimate board. Although the 162 with 16m sidecut will absolutely rail on groomers given the rider is willing to open it up and has some space to utilize the sidecut. For all other conditions, the Furberg is my go to ride. Like mtsurfr stated, it's a life changing ride especially in mixed conditions. I could go on and on about how great the Furbergs ride, but I suggest riding one and making your own conclusion. Better yet, buy one from Daniel and let the Furbergaling commence. If for some reason you are not impressed, I would be happy to buy it back from you. Nate Meister

Thanks for the offer Nate. I definitely need to try one. I'm sure the board I'm dreaming of will come around some day but furberg seems to be the first board Co to address what modern snowboards have been lacking.
