Hey Tahoe crew, I'm heading up to NorCal for thanksgiving and I'm really hoping to get out into all of this fresh white goodness that is heading that way on either wednesday the 24th or saturday the 27th, or both. And I'm looking for backcountry partners.

I used to live up this way but that was long before I started splitting so I'm not real familiar the terrain up there. Let me know if you're up for showing me around a bit. There'll be beers in if for ya as well.

Also, since I might end up solo, can anyone point me toward a fun, protected/low angle zone? Avy conditions are likely to be more than a little bit sketch on weds...

Waterhouse is good for the "protected/low angle" part, but I have no idea what the coverage will be like. Maybe one of the locals can chime in.

Wednesday is looking good to me . I live off the I80 corridor so would be going to North Lake.

Solid, let's make wednesday. I'm on the 80 corridor (near applegate) as well so northlake will be most convenient as well. Send me a pm with your contact info. Seems like carpooling is an option as well...
