Hi Everyone,

Wondering if any locals will be getting out May 29 for a tour and would be okay with me tagging along. I'll be staying in Lee Vining both Friday and Saturday night but wouldn't mind driving a bit for the destination. Also, there's only one bed but people are welcome to use the floor space at my hotel if they want to show up Friday night and do something in the area.

I'd like to do a bigger objective if possible, 8-12k days are no problem.

That weekend there should be plenty of folks out there, unless the weather sucks (which it might, given the weird spring we've been having). But usually around that time, most folks are on the car shuttle/day trip/take it easy and be drinking beers by noon program. Good luck finding 12k partners... you bringing your skinsuit?

Hwy 120 will hopefully be open by then, which opens up a whole new door in terms of access.

8-12K ?? Can you pull me up after about 6K?

Probably won't be down there until Sunday, but shoot me a PM just in case.

If 120 stays open you could easily find a partner in the lot at Ellery or Yosemite east gate by Dana.
