It's nice that the snow decided to start falling again! It was getting ugly out there. Is anyone thinking about getting out this weekend? I'm shooting for Saturday (place TBD), provided I can kick this cold.

It is going off right now in the Centrals with over 3 feet in the past 5 days. Im thinking about touring around eithier Crystal or Rainier Saturday.

Anybody down for an I-90 or Hwy 2 tour on Saturday morning? All my BC buddies are doing family stuff and I'd like to meet more of the splitboard crew.

I've been riding/skiing in the bc for 10 years (I'm 28), and have Avy 1 equivalent through Baker ski patrol, but this is my first year on the split (which I'm really stoked on, obviously).

Hey Kyle and Shacked,

I may be up for joining one of you tomorrow. I'm on the fence right now b/c of this damn cold I have and b/c I may actually need to work tomorrow. I'll know later today what my plan is. If you don't see any posts or PM's from me later on, then I probably can't make it.

Shacked, I've only been splitting for about one year. The only place I know on Hwy. 2 is the Heather Ridge area (pretty popular/well known spot). I had a good time there. It's right across Hwy. 2 from the Stevens Pass ski area. Anyway, just fyi. Oh, I also have Avy. 1 training and all of the necessary BC gear (beacon, probe, shovel, etc).

Right on. Just letting you know that it looks like I'm out for tomorrow. Opting for a skate sesh and some Christmas errands in town over the questionable snowpack/temp conditions.

Another time for sure.
