Any lower mainland splitters up for a tour? I might even be interested in touring up Hemlock Valley

I've got a spare beacon, probe and shovel. But it begs the question, why do you have a splitboard and no beacon?

I got into split boarding and the verry end of winter last year. I got a good deal on a splitboard. Its harder to rent a splitboard then it is to rent a beacon. I got a probe and shovel and Im working on getting a beacon. Ive been layed off for a year so the money has been tight.
What spare bacon do you have?

That's cool, not working has both its advantages and disadvantages. It's kind of nice to be able to plan around the weather and not a work schedule.
I have an older analog SOS, it's reliable but not fancy.

I'm thinking about the lower reaches of Mt Zoa, right from the highway. But we'll see about the weather, it's raining in the Fraser Valley right now.

There appears to be quite a bit snow by looking at the highway webcam. I'm pulling a couple all nighters to finish off some papers and lab reports- hope I have enough left in me for Sunday.
