Looking for split guys or gals (or skiers, I don't discriminate) interested in backcountry riding or spring mountaineering in the beautiful mountains surrounding Aspen Colorado. Anywhere in the valley would be great, would love to ride Sopris too.

Out of work and looking to do a lot of riding this Spring!

Srossand and I have talked. I'll be down there for the hut trip this weekend. Afterwards, I've got a few days and my options are open.
I'm really interested in doing Sopris next week. I'm flying out to attempt Rainier at the end of nest week, so I think 5,000 vert on Sopris is the best training I could possibly do.

what day are you guys thinking about hitting sopris? i usually work mon- fri so weekends are best but with a couple days notice i could probably pull a weekday. 5000 feet sounds good. hows the snow up that way? northern san juans have taken a heavy beating over the last week. i dont know if you got as much of the dust up there but thats really accelerating the melt off down here. looking looks like were in for another round of it too, the sky had that red in it on the way home today. well, let me know and ill try to make it up there.
