i'll be in for that anytime after the split party! at work right now and probably not the best plan heading out there with me anyway. that would make two of us with no experience...

Went today and took a couple laps on the slopes to dial in my bindings. I am going to have to figure something out for those T-nut holes. The epoxy I used didn't work that well.
I skinned up Turkey Shoot and up Devils Backbone till the snow ran out. I hiked up a little further, but the coverage looked pretty bad. The only available descent was the far side of Baldy Bowl and there was no snow below the hut. Probably not worth it.
I would say that without another big dump, the season in the San Gabriels is pretty much toast.

Yeah. There was a lot more coverage on the backside. I was solo and trying to stay in the area I was already comfortable with. There really wasn't much coverage below the hut.
When I said it was toast, I meant as far as descents to somewhere near the parking lots were concerned.
Looks like you had good one... Telegraph did look pretty nice.

yeah swanny that's what i was imagining. you keen to hit that up after the cali party? i'll be available any sunday, hopefully saturdays depending on work....
