So the tour is officially cancelled? Still hoping to hook up with everybody at Baker hopefully next week.

I'd still love to go out if it's still on. Probably just stick to mellower terrain.

What could possibly go wrong?

I'm going to push out my plans till next weekend. This weekend I'll be staying in close, maybe going up to Hyak on Saturday or Sunday. If you want to meet up there let me know.

What could go wrong? too funny! I said the same thing about Vertfest last week, "How bad could it be?"

Thanks for the offer ST, Hyak is probably a bit too much of drive for me.

I'll just stay local and earn some brownie points with the wife this weekend.

It looks like the weather is going to cooperate this weekend. It's cooling down so the snow should be much safer.

Anyway, I'm going to retry the hike up at Herman Saddle. If anyone wants to meet up, we'll be in the old Chandelier parking lot at 8:00am. That's the parking lot as you drive through Glacier, go past the ranger station and it’s on the right just past the Snowline Condos. I think Mt Baker Ski Area uses that as their bus pick up.

Hope to see you guys there!

I plan on meeting sketchyT in Glacier on Saturday. I'll be driving up from Seattle, so if anyone wants to carpool, let me know. I have room for one rider + gear.

Probably can't go on Saturday, but I may head up that way on Monday if the weather is good.

Is anyone thinking of doing a trip closer to Seattle, maybe Snoqualmie Pass or Stevens Pass areas? Let me know...

Sketchy and Rankin, I may join you guys on the Mt. Baker trip if there isn't anything else going on (that's a little closer to home). I'll let you know tomorrow night.

Oh yeah, look for a big, old, blue Chevy Suburban.

Anyone going out Mon, Tues or Wed? Debating on whether to head out or not. Looks like we got some rain in the hills this weekend.
