I am freshly among the ranks of automobile non-owners, which is great-unless I want to hit the trailhead with an alpine start.
Wondering if any one in the Boulder/Denver area is heading up to the hills tomorrow or Sunday, and have room for another shlepper. I can be entertaining, travel moderately fast and split gas costs very well.

Hey dude, I'll be in Denver this weekend. I'd like to get out on Sunday. I've just had a totally miserable experience skinning 5 miles up a creek drainage with a full pack, and no mountaineering or snowboarding whatsoever. So I'd like to hit something with a short approach and a high summit.

That sounds horrible! Sorry for that, it happens sometimes.
As far as next Sunday goes, sounds great! Sunday has been the day to go lately.
Rode some powder, windcrust and manky mashed potatoes in Dry Gulch yesterday. Beautiful valley!
