Hey Rippers,
I'll be traveling to the San Juans fro dream vacation next week. Will try to ride Monarch on Saturday, skate Montrose/Ridgeway/Telluride (barring too much snow) on Sunday, and ride Telluride Mon.-Wed. Would like to hook up with some out-the-gate guides at Telluride, since I've never been there before. Thursday I want to ride Silverton or skate Aztec NM, depending on weather. Maybe Wolf Creek on Friday, then a long drive back to Boulder.
I'm open to suggestions for short-access roadside hits, in-bounds must-hits or even a day tour with kind, conservative friendly partners. Would love to have a skate session at any of the skateparks.
I love skateboarding.

I just rode Mt. Aetna this past weekend, It is on the east side of monarch pass. You pull off at monarch lodge and skin in. It is the obvious peak looking east from the top of monarch. I would definitely recommend it! gorgeous peak!

Thanks Vegabond. I've looked at that peak in the summer and dreamed about it.
