Yes, me again. No need to respond, it seems no one ever does. Mumbles has a light work schedule Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday next week. Anyone got some free time to spend with a loser like me? Tues and Fri are absolutely clear as of now. Wed night I have a presentation to do at 7pm so I have to be off the hill in time to drive home.
I'm also planning on riding my sold at Baker with an old friend or two on the 21st and wouldn't mind meeting some of the W-WA mystery boarders. I shower, brush my teeth and generally have good manners. I'm ready to stop buying these darn lift tickets.

At the moment I have Tuesday off, but I may switch it to Wednesday as the weather looks like its going to be sunny on Wednesday. Might be up for something depending on weather and conditions.

I'm just a snow rider new to splitting who considres himself safe and a good decision maker. I intend to come home to my two daughers and wife at the end of every day. That philosophy served me well for 20 years in the Navy and continues to do so now. Basic medical, security and law enforcement experience and my current emergency preparedness coordinator jobs have me well versed in making a safe plan and taking many contingencies into consideration. When you are solo you have less contingencies and less flexibility. I would rather tag along with some of the seemingly top notch riders who know much about W-WA than stumble my way through it alone. Let me know when and where or tell me to buzz off. I'm not thin skinned, lets ride or not. I don't want to spoil anyone's stoke.

Still no plan for me for this week yet. Going to wait to see what the weather does. Looks like I''ll be taking Wednesday off rather than tomorrow at this point though.

jcocci, thanks for the update. I likely will ride inbounds tomorrow or pass until Friday. The evening meetings that I have for wednesday may make getting to ride and back too tight a schedule.

I guess I will likely hit Crystal since it is the closest, looks like more of the current snow is pelting pretty hard but further north. I'll watch the weather and make a game time decision I guess. Good chance to ride my new soft boots and strap bindings (moving away from the burton step ins) while riding solo on and between the groomers.

jcocci, I did hit crystal today. The day was pretty nice. There was a bit of fresh, they said 7", I would say more like 4". The skys were favorable, clear and bright there, but it looked like a mess further north.
I was on a self imposed tight time schedule, so I was there before the lifts were running and I rode through lunch so that I could be back early. I got a good break in day for my new dual boa soft boots and strap in bindings.
Riding solo has some appeal to me, but today it sucked being alone.
