What are the WA spliters comtemplating this weekend? Anybody wanna get together to ride? I think the gettin' is good.

Daddy daycare Saturday and Sunday, but I could be up for a trip tomorrow if anyone is up for it on short notice.

Nomad and I will probably get out. I will let you know. I would really like to do something gnarly, but this weather isn't looking so hot...we will see. I would like to get out both days too, tomorrow i will try to hash things out a little more.

Looks like we'll be out around Snoq on Sunday unless AV conditions send up north to cooler environs. Have not a firm plan yet. You guys any closer to a destination Jack?

Anyone else have plans?

Just got back from the Crystal BC today and it was windy. My skin track was gone by the time I got down and my down track was gone by the time I got to the top. Bottomless free refills. I was solo so I just stuck to what I know, some steep trees and tried out some gullies. Only shallow surface slabs to contend with. No one else was out.

Snow was variable with all the shifting wind. Sun even came out for a bit. Top 3rd wind effected creamy chalk, middle 3rd wind loaded blower pow, bottom 3rd shallow, whizzing surface crust with pow underneath.

On another note, I got a call from Nomad during my outing. Time leave TaCompton and build those frequent flyer miles

i will probably rock baker resort tomorrow and possibly some slack country depending on weather.

hopefully will make something happen in the bc on Sunday.

by the way, Topher, i am in Bellingham.

I need to move to Bellingham. Baker is just over 3 hours from my home near Kingston. Maybe next summer when my wife retires. She wants to move to a cozy town with lots of things to do...Bellingham is that and closer to the winter paradise known as Baker.
