I rode my solid board with my AT boots and plates at Stevens yesterday and we departed as the new snow front moved in. I may be riding again some day this week, perhaps at Crystal unless I can find someone who is going to head out this week on a split tour. I know that a lot of new snow has fallen and likely will limit some of the options. Anyone hoping to get out but not currently paired or grouped up let me know. I've said it before, I will repeat it, I'm new this year to splitting, but not new to riding (20 years, althout that is far less experience than TEX). Thanks for keeping me in mind.

i will probably tour some time later this week or weekend, just keeping an eye on the weather and snow pack right now...if you come up, we could probably make something happen.

hurricane ridge opened for 1 day this week and we got it for a couple of hours...the road was open today and we got all the way to the parking lot and then sent back down due to "high winds". A cross-country skier got lost at hurricane hill on saturday (found on sunday) and I think now the national park will close the road any chance they get to keep people off. Still looking for plan-b out here...

I'm headed to Crystal inbounds tomorrow (Wed) with a couple of my wife's co-workers. Should any splitters be going out in that area give me a call 360 981 2948 I will bring my solid and split board gear, just in case. I will likely try to explore the area available from the new Northway lift, but I'm not sure that the two guys I'm going with will be riding in that area.
I'll still keep hoping for some stability in schedule for Hurricane Ridge as it is much closer to my house than any of the other areas. HR just is less stable from a road access standpoint.
