Anyone headed out for a leisurly journey on Friday? The last attempt that Mumbles and Chronicles of Gnarnia attempted at Hurricane Ridge was a bust due to the access road closure. We had hoped to get out on Friday, but they closed the ridge road early today with forecast for heavy snow all night long. That makes the road opening sketchy at best. This new snowfall also pushes avy danger to high or greater, so I'm hoping someone is going out on some mellow and shallow slopes and would not mind some company. Maybe some yo-yo tursn in the foothils, some skinning, beacon practice and pit digging, hell, if it involves snow and fresh air then it merits consideration. Thanks for keeping us in mind.

Jack,
I might skip Friday and ride Stevens on Saturday, with the amount of snow falling it might be wiser to ride inbounds until it has time to settle nicely. I'll keep checking with you and get to Baker soon.
