Looking for splitboarders in the Boise, ID area. I've got a Burton S Series, Avy equipment, and am Avy Level I. Interested in sun, powder and a cold beer after a good workout.

Im interested. Ive got everything I need right now besides poles and avy 1, but Ill be taking that in January I think.

Hello Boise SB'ers. Just wanted to say hi. I am going to start collecting gear for next season. I have just become really interested in Splitboarding and I think I will get hooked after reading a lot of info on this board and talking with a couple of my buddies who BackCountry on Tele's.

That being said, any advice as I start to acquire gear? I have been riding all my life (20+years), am a Native of Idaho so I am familiar with the State, and have only the standard snowboarding gear. I plan on replacing almost everything I own (it is worn out) after this season with the idea in mind of the gear functioning for the lifts and BackCountry.

Location: Boise, Idaho
I live in Boise, converting to backcountry, making the switch to splitboard, will have to wate till next year for avalanch I+, and should have the gear by next fall. I have been snowboarding strong for over 16 years, with over 25 years on skis before snowboarding.

I'm up at Bogus 1 to 2 times a week if you want to make some runs. PM, E-mail, pop smoke, if you want. I'm allways looking for someone to snowboard with.
