I've boarded most of the places across the state that I planned to this year, so I plan to finish out the season close to home. Anyone interested in riding around the IPW, RMNP, Mt Evans, or Pikes Peak?
Time is limited but my schralping schedule currently looks like this (I'm a weekend warrior):
Sat, June 2
Sat-Sun, June 23-24
Sat-Sun, June 30-Jul 1

Not sure if you can/already have plans, but if you're available the 16th/17th, let me know ... my last two full days in CO and I'd like to be skiing if I can.

Damn, can't do it. I've got some flatlanders scheduled to fly in for your random rafting & beer drinking trip. Although I'd like to ride, this trip has been booked for a while. Upside, that leaves a whole 2 weeks to plan a big ride FOR SURE on the 24th or 25th. If you end up sticking around another week I'd be down, but otherwise enjoy your last ride.

Saw you had Pikes on the list...here's some beta from Sat.
The north face of Pikes, we skied the y-couloir, lookers right. Straight down through the rock band with the shadow.
A look down the cooler, yeah thats my bald head[pirate]
A shot of me skiing below the rock band.
looking back up at Klaus
Looking up the cooler
Hiking back up the railroad couloir.
We then moved to the western side of the mountain known as Devils Playground; This is an image of "little Italy".
Wannabe skiing down "Little Italy"
What a great time on Sat. Conditions were icy at the top of the cooler and got better the further down we skied. There will still be some good climbing and skiing at least for a few more weeks.

I've spent so many countless hours behind a steering wheel between Denver and Pueblo these past 4 months...and Pikes has been the only constant in my random life. I'd really like to hit it...possibly Saturday (23rd).
Those pics looks like some barren conditions. Do the couloirs on the North face go all the way? I was looking at it on Friday and it looked like even the longest one eventually runs out of snow.
