SF and I hiked the summer trail up to Cathedral Bowl and then ended up riding off of the SE side of Tallac. We started our descent way too late in the day (around 1:00) and so we probably should have chosen something with a different aspect. We ended up starting a few wet slides and the snow was pretty baked.

didn't make it into desolation yesterday but from what I could see from heavenly looking south the coverage up high is still good. Need to hit that sh*t tommorow!
