Storm total at Mt.Rose was 4"-5". My thimble runneth over. I may spend a few hours in north-facing trees one day this weekend, but that's about it. Did *ass** get much?

Anyone going out Sunday? Is it even worth it?

I doubt it - it's supposed to cool down again this weekend. But PM if you end up going and need a partner. I could use a day away from sea level.

I think I'm going to mtb instead. Santa Cruz here I come.

That's cool - I may just tuck tail, 'pull a bcr' , and ride groomers on Saturday.

Yeah, I thought about that but driving 3 hours and spending $50 on a lift ticket doesn't sound worth it.

SF, come to KW. I could get you a discounted ticket, but it will probably still be relatively expensive, esp. for a groomer day. I'm not bringing the split this weekend.

Let's meet up! I may have a line on a free pass at KW. That'll take some of the sting out of it.

Not super exited about getting out, but with some snow maybe later next week, it might be OK.

If it snows a decent amount, then we'll be riding lifts one or two days.

..but, at least we know where there is some coverage for when it snows. Yeah that's right. It is going to snow.

I was considering a super early dawn patrol tomorrow on the west side of the summit (echo). Gotta be at work by 12pm so it will be a quickie (6:30-9:30). Due to the time contraints I was thinking of not going over the summit and just poking around near Neblehorn or maybe Ralstonia. Would love some company if yer interested but if you wanna go somewhere better since you have the full day that's cool too.
