I gotta start really early, maybe with a headlamp - like 5:30am, since I hafta work :x . I doubt anybody will be stupid enough to wanna do this, but...

Hey, true first tracks in this area are rare and hard to come by.

Brutal trailbreaking in 2+' of new all the way to the top. Started with a headlamp. Got a little spooked just before I dropped while watching the productive avy control being performed on the road below. Especially since the dog and I were alone, my beacon was in my pack, my dog's beacon only transmits, and earlier I had stepped on cracks in the sidewalk while loading the car.

You should have that Recco shit on your digs, going out like that, all alone, with your beacon in your pack.

what time? what place? i'm going up thurs night. might ride lifts on fri if it's stormy. definitely would like to do some skinning on sat, though, if not on fri as well. anyway, keep me in the loop.

I'm not 100% positive but I think he's talking about pretty damn early on saturday. During the week is 1 thing but to get up that early on the weekend is insanity ;)
