Checking in...looks like snow this morning in the Kootenay Pass. I'm riding out of Nelson this winter- Whitewater, Kootenay Pass, Kokanee Glacier, Rossland Range. Going to hit up the Kokanee Glacier as soon as conditions allow.
Trevor.

Word of the day in Nelson was 'Shred'! Got out to WH2O this weekend finally. Did a bunch of laps into 5 mile on Sat. Fuck it was cold in the shade at the bottom. White Queen out. Sunday was the funday though! Blasted up Evening Ridge and over to a zone that held some of the best turns of the season.
Yea, this was gonna get shralped!
First we had to deal with a glorious run through some glades in the sun, looking back at 'em.
The only action shot, from run one of three off of that face.
Entrance pics thread? That hole shot through the trees was the target for run two. Massive amounts of fast running sluff kept it interesting.
And none from run 3, but a couple of big rocks, fast airs and totally stomping the shit out of it all made for the greatest run of the year yet. Did a bit of hooting and hollering as I crossed the fan....
Changed over, back up to the Whale's back, which had turned into a bit of zoo at that point, for the 5th and final run back to the cars. Beat all the skiers down....
