So looks Like I will be able to get my van back in time to head up to Tahoe for the holidays. I will plan on driving up from San Jose probably on Monday after the storm and will stay until I'm ready to come back. I would like to get out on some tours but am completely new to the area so partners are required. If anyone is planning on being around and needs a partner or doesn't mind adding another to the group that would be great. I will be checking email and stuff so let me know.

Also, does anybody have any beta on overnight parking/carcamping in the area? I've got a 4x4 Sportsmobile and just need somewhere flat to pop my top. I did buy a Snopark pass but not sure how that works.

ryan, i am new to the area as well. would love to get back out to tahoe area for BC or resort riding. have gear for overnight trips as well. looking for some riding buddies for sure. just moved here this summer from AK. hope you have a good week and look forward to hearing from ya or crossing paths. either way.. take care man.
