Ok, so I just broke down an bought a pass at Stevens. I want to tour a lot, but I also realize I need to transition over to deep snow (originally from the east coast where powder is like a hot, wild red head...your friends have told you it exists, but since you've never seen it, you often doubt its existence). That being said, if anyone wants to get out to stevens let me know. I have every other friday off (Nov 30 as the first) as well as each weekend.
Hit me up. I can drive (4x4 with horrid gas milage) or pitch in for gas if its a more mild day. I have to get my money's worth on this...GET SOME!
I have a pass up there as well. I'm definitely down for some resort riding when I'm not touring. Cowboy Ridge is fun, plus I know a few other hike-to stashes around there too. I can also drive, got a Subaru with snow tires. Sounds like tresnow has a pass there too. I'm probably heading up there with a couple buddies Sunday if anyone wants to get some turns.

Heather ridge, this coming saturday Dec 1rst. 8 am.
Meet in the lot on the north side of hwy 2.
This can be more of an 'intro to' day. Mostly interested in getting out and checking out the interface between the new and old snow.. we can do some digging, beacon drills, and get the over all layout of heather ridge... ok for any fitness or skill level.
Are you thinking this will be an all day type event? ill be there till 11 or noon anyway. There are a big group of my friends going to Stevens Saturday so I get to just walk across the lot when we finish. All who care to are welcome to join us as well.

I can't make it for Saturday's Test Pit/Shred Sesh.
Did it rain up at the pass today? Any interest in riding on Sunday? This might be my last weekend available for the winter as I'm starting a new job. (but I'll have Monday thru Wednesday off )
Considering skipping the Hawks game to get a tour in over on Heather. Anyone interested? Never been over there, hoping to meet up with someone who knows the terrain.

Anyone splitting near Stevens tomorrow? Rode the resort today and weather was amazing. With the game tomorrow all my regular partners are choosing to watch it instead of board. PM me.
