I may or may not have spotted something white up on Roberts with the break in the clouds this morning. Government funded shredder here looking to skin up with the sun and shred till dark.

Spent last night at the Igloo Hut. Went up Cutblock Ridge and dropped in the north chutes. Best turns of the years yet! I think we were the first folks up to the hut since fall, had to shovel 3-4 feet down to it & the firewood. Someone has done some work, no more plastic, nice new tin on the front. The stove is missing the door, I bent up a piece of spare tin & that works all right.

Bueller....? It's been puking blower for 48hrs at least. Don't tell me you're all up at the hill paying $66 a day to stand in a line, cross other folks tracks and traverse corduroy and mashed potatoes to do it all again. It's steeper and deeper elsewhere....

davis how long did it take you to get to rogers for splitfest? which way did you go?
It's about a 5hr drive from Revelstoke, if you time the ferry right. 23 down to the Upper Arrow Lake/Galena ferry. Down to Nakusp, hang right onto 6. Down through the Slocan Valley, dream big lines while looking over at the Valhallas. Hang a right onto 3 at the junction and south till morning.

Funemployed for the time being yea, looking at getting some remote camp work, so hard to say what my exact schedule is gonna be. No wheels either, really dirt bagging it!
