Rookie looking for partner around Mammoth Mountain

So I’m going to mammoth early February and I’m staying two months. I am planning to get my first splitboard while I am in the USA, problem is that the two mates I’m going with are more into park than having to walk up mountains in order to get some riding done. I am a new to splitboards but have been snowboarding since I was a kid, mostly in Sweden but last year some bigger mountain in the alpes, Kosovo and Macedonia. Always riding with avalanche gear, no training yet, but going to take a level one avy course in the US. I always bring a camera and don’t mind taking pictures of others riding, even If I have to sacrifice some riding myself. Kinda feels like I’m writing an ad for a date site or something, but at least I left out the part about long walks on the beach... Anyway! You need a riding partner around the mammoth area or want another dude to your gang? Send me a PM!

^Toured up Lake Mary yesterday with the mutt and saw some splits tracks coming off the crest behind Horseshoe/George...yours?

no we did use the track by lake mary to get to the mammoth rock bowl however. Found some good turns in there

I'm headed out to mammoth week of 2/25 - 3/5. I hear snow pack is pretty barren. Any recommendations?
