Conditions and forecasts looking like a window may be present in NE Oregon this weekend. I'm going to drive to Elkhorn Range from Bend at 2am Friday (4/6), tour Friday, boondock Friday night, tour Saturday, head back to Bend either Saturday or Sunday.

There are many peaks and objectives in the area. This area is also relatively accessible compared to most of the Wallowa's. Wing Ridge is the exception I can think of but longer driving time. For obvious reasons, it would be great to go with a partner with skills and good sense. PM me for details and questions.
