Hey there, I am going to be attending the SIA show in Denver at the end of January. They have some lift ticket offers, but I would much rather bring my split and get out into the mountains for real. Unfortunately I am stuck in Ontario this winter, and this may be my only chance to go splitting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

GW.

I suggest going up to Burthod pass. there is usually a few groups up there that you might be able to tag along with.

Thanks, I would love to make it up there, but will likely have to link up with somebody prior to riding as I will be flying in (no car really). Is there anybody on here who rides in that area regularly ?

I appreciate it.

DW

Late response here sorry.

There are several of us who ride at Bert and other spots. Right now the conditions near Denver are pretty horrible. I've been going down to Wolf Creek Pass the last couple of weekends since it's in mid season form already. Hopefully by SIA we'll have decent coverage at Berthoud, but it could be bad with this late of a start. We just don't typically get a lot of snow at once. More like drips and drabs every day over a large number of weeks. That needs to kick in soon or riding along the Denver Front Range is going to suck until mid February.

What are you going to be doing at SIA? I'll stop by your booth and say hi.

Late reply also,

I am headed to SIA to peddle my skills and try and get some work. I'm an Industrial Designer looking to work in the Snowsports industry (where my passions lie obviously). Not sure how long I will be in the area, a friend of mine might meet me out there for a little road trip...but I'm generally unsure about that at the moment. As I said before, I would love to meet up with anybody riding in the area ( or wherever the snow in CO is).

Thanks for the reply,

GW.
