hell yes oam805, sounds dope. Hopefully this year will be somewhere close to last years incredible snowpack for the LP. I got up to Mt. Pinos a few times in April with great coverage.

Checking out some novelty lines in Big Sur is something i've always wanted to do. being able to see the pacific while riding would be all time. Sounds like we could get an little 805 crew together with ollyL and YEGsplit.

Im still waiting on funds to get a few necessities (skins, beacon, cramp ons, axe) so it might be a while (Jan,Feb) for me to do any big tours in the Sierra's.

Any tips on finding a place to live down there? It looks really expensive, are there any deals to be found?

Check out the Goleta area a little north of SB.. Or 15 min south in Carpenteria...a super nice little beach community.

I'm down. I live in Manhattan Beach and my days off are Tue, Wed, and Thur. I didn't get to board at all last year so I'm going to blow it out this season (primaraly the east side) Anyone who's down, email me.

Hey what's up- my name's Dan, I'm moving to the Silverlake/Echo Park area in LA from Salt Lake City after the first of the year and am hoping to find some backcountry partners for day trips to explore the San Gabriels and LP mountains. Looks like this is the right place. I've been through the Avy 1 course and riding for 20 years or so.

Good news Socal, went out after work for a tour.I was able to skin from the car door to the top and ride to the car door. No rocks but did eat some bush

We do need more snow. Probably won't get much for Thanksgiving.

swanny-what time would you be going up? and if anything under a foot falls would it be worth it?
