Hey, yeah Bend checking in. I've been here since last winter (up from southern Oregon) and starting to think snow again. Agreed, having the mountains this close is killer. The other day I hiked around Broken Top to Green lakes and scoped lines on B-top and S. Sister We've got bush!
I'd like to get out for a little more recon around the Tam McArthur rim and Middle Sister before it snows. If you'd like to join me, let me know. Otherwise hope to see you this winter!
Oh, my five year old likes this smiley

I'm passing thru now, on my way to crater lake, but it looks like there are many white capped mountains awaiting you! Looks a lot like northern Arizona.

Just ordered my split and bindings. I'm brand-new to split-boarding but I'm in good shape and reasonably snow- and outdoor-savvy. Avy 1 and 2 certified but can always use more practice with the beacon.
Retail employee so I am looking for mid-week partners.

Hell yea! haha ive been searching craigslist nonstop for a cheap sled. Def let me know when you head down, seeing as its my first season here I plan on riding a lot. Just drove past hood last week and cant wait to shred up there.
Also, I did a little recon up around Broken top on Tues. Of course my one free day its foggy and slightly raining. BUT I did stumble upon some nice looking features in the woods. If that zone gets a good amount of snow it looks pretty fun
