Just moved out here to SLC from WA, first year splitboarding and backcountry riding, looking for someone to hopefully show me the ropes on some mellow/easier terrain, only ever toured once. Have all my avy gear and little knowledge, taking my avy 1 at the beginning of the year.
Willing to buy beer and dinner if you can put up with me for a day, thanks

Hey there, I'm new to the split game but have been riding since i was 15. I have a pass for The Canyons and there is lots of good mellow terrain out the back to build skill on. Its easy access from the lifts and snow quality is usually pretty good. The beacon park there is a good place to warm your pieps skills before you head out too. This will be my second season at the Canyons but i have ridden all over the world. I'm waiting on my Jones 168w solution to ship then i'm out there everyday. I have my level 1 avalanche cert, wilderness first aid and worked as a hike guide in NZ. I have my level 2 booked in this year up in AK. Can't wait for that trip!!!!! I'm always keen to ride so if you are still looking for someone to ride with drop me a message,

Hey,
I'd be happy to get out with you in the upper cottonwoods. I know upper LCC well and am looking to explore more areas this winter. Give me an email and we'll try to get out.

Yeah, uber-noob here in Orem looking to join you guys if you get together some weekend. I hike a lot, and it's my second year snowboarding the BD at Sundance. Looking to get avalanche and BC formal training this year as well.
Currently, I'm thinking snowshoes + reg board for the first year would be OK? Email me if interested: scott [dot] barlow [at] gmail [dot] com.

Hey I'm in SLC for 2 weeks and am looking for splitboarding partners. I am eager to go out any day of the week. Send me an email to ride or even just to let me come along. I'd greatly appreciate it. orash111@yahoo.com
I have avalanche training, lived previously in SLC for 9 years and have had 2 years of experience in the alps so far.
