I will be down there this weekend, but from what I can tell the weather is going to be kinda shit... maybe somebody who lives down there knows otherwise though?

i just arrived in seattle with plans to make this beautiful city my new home. i kinda had a hunch there'd be a good backcountry scene up here. sadly, i'm here to end a 1.5 year "vacation" which was dedicated primarily to splitboarding (with a little resort riding, rock climbing, and fly fishing thrown in for variety), but the upside is that aside from a few job interviews, my schedule is wide open for now. i've been all over the sierras (and the southern alps of new zealand) but have yet to log a single day in the cascades. i just picked up rainer burgdorfer's book and i'm starting to get inspired!
i'm down for any size day or trip (got all my camping gear with me). there's still some snow left out there.... right?!
